You can choose to get behind the wheel or be a passenger in a Ferrari F430 convertible or a Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder
With my preference of Lamborghini, I chose to be re-united with a raging Bull.
A$275 for 15 minute drive through the City.

Signing my life away ... better not prang it |
Pre-drive photos.
The condition of the car was pretty hammered but what do you expect with the car being driven hour in and hour out by people who just want to fang the tits off it.
Very much like a well worn prostitute.
The interior was well worn.
Very painful to see a Lamborghini in such a state.
With the turn of the key, the beast came alive.
A harmonic symphony errupted behind my ears and this was just at idle revs.
Off we go, and I'm taking in the feeling of driving my dream car.
Luckily there isn't traffic on the road & the weather held out.
Under the instruction of the guy beside me, i begin to unleash.
1st gear to redline, shift, 2nd gear to redline ... slow down .. down gear to 1st... FANGGGGG
AWESOMENESS !!!!
The sound of the v10 is amazing... like a swarm of angry bees mixed in with rabid barking dogs.
In my excitement i managed to miss a turn and grant myself another 2 or 3 mins in this beast.
I fanged to my heart's content through the tunnel, amongst the buildings, through some windy city roads and partially on the open streets before returning to the Marina Bay Sands.
It was time to part with the beast, it was a nice rush.
Big grin on my face.
Breakfast time, back we go to the food court.
After breakfast we intended to walk over to Chinatown but this was short lived as it started to bucket down.
I've come across these types of photoshoots on Flickr I must find this one ! |
Rather than catching a Taxi we decided to try the Mass Rapid Transport
No eating or drinking allowed on the MRT.
Cat's sugars were starting to drop. Uh oh.
After starting to stress a bit, the sight of the Golden Arches was like an oasis.

Feeling rejuvinated and with sugar levels regulated, we continue to peruse the streets of Chinatown.
Rear of the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple & Museum |
I couldn't capture what could be seen in this temple as Cat tells me not to take full frontal photos of the Buddhas, this and the fact that some areas had photography forbidden.

Back to the hotel we head in preparation for dinner time !
Dinner tonight is at Stellar @ 1-Altitude.
We went up to the level 62 rooftop bar.
The world's highest alfresco bar.
$13 lemon lime & bitters lol |

Nice view out to the South China Sea |
Stellar Restaurant |
Stellar Restaurant is located a floor below the rooftop bar on level 62.
The Gastronomic menu allows you to chose 4, 5 or 6 courses from the menu.
Against the advice of the waiter we opted for the 6 courses (perhaps because our sitting was only between 6:30 and 8:30).
Amouse Bouche ... Smoked salmon, beetroot puree & flake of fish skin |
Duck and it's Nest |
Scallop Ravioli |
